  • Maintaining professional appearance

  • Following guidelines and using judgment centered on safety in all actions

  • Always maintaining clean and professional wheelchair vans

  • Attending mandatory meetings

The Wheelchair Van Driver provides compassionate care and transport for elderly, disabled and temporarily injured individuals. The position involves door to door, bed to bed and curb to curb transport. In certain cases, transporting citizens up and down stairs is required. The primary objective of the wheelchair van driver is to provide respectful medical transportation, while preserving the patients’ dignity and ensuring community safety.
